About these Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are between Leading Edge Group Limited (ABN 68 093 019 213) of PO Box 148, Pymble NSW 2073 (“Leading Edge Group” and “our” and “we”), and you as the customer (“you" and “your”).

These terms and conditions together with your Order constitute the entire agreement between Leading Edge Group and you for the supply of the products. No other terms and conditions apply. The agreement can only be varied and signed by both parties in writing.

Australian Sales Only

Leading Edge Group will only sell and ship Products within Australia to retail customers and will not sell Products to small business and companies who should contact an Authorised Apple Reseller. Leading Edge Group will not make deliveries outside Australia. Orders will only be processed if a legitimate Australian Billing address and Phone Number are provided. We may contact you to confirm your order before we approve it for processing.

Payment Methods

Payment may only be made by Credit Card. Leading Edge Group accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards associated with a billing address within Australia. All transactions are in Australian dollars and you must pay the price payable in Australian dollars as indicated on your Order Confirmation. Leading Edge Group is not responsible for any Foreign Transaction Fees charged by your bank if you are using an international credit card. Leading Edge Group will email your invoice to the email address indicated on your account registration when Leading Edge Group ship the Products to you. Your invoice will be deemed your proof of purchase.

Pricing

Leading Edge Group endeavours to offer you competitive prices on current Apple products. Leading Edge Group reserves the right to change prices for products displayed in the Sales Portal at any time. All prices include GST and the total referred on your invoice will include GST.

Supply of Your Products

Leading Edge Group will arrange for delivery of the products to the nominated Leading Edge Computers store and will not charge for this service.

Leading Edge Group will endeavour and use its best efforts to deliver the products to you within 14 business days of the date of issue of your Order Confirmation, however, Leading Edge Group does not guarantee this time frame. The estimated delivery date on your order is subject to product availability and delays may occur. There may also be delays in payment processing and transit time for delivery of products which is beyond Leading Edge Group’s control.

If Leading Edge Group are unable to deliver your products to you within 30 days of the date of issue of your Order Confirmation, you will have the option to cancel your Order. The product will be shipped to your nominated Leading Edge Computers store only and Leading Edge Group will not ship direct to you the customer under any circumstances. You will be notified when goods are available for pickup.

Payment processing will not begin until Leading Edge Group receives a full authorisation of the purchaser’s credit card. Orders placed on a weekend or a public holiday will be processed on the next business day (which excludes public holidays for NSW).

Before goods are released you must present the credit card used to pay for the goods and a current drivers licence or proof of age card. A copy of this identification will be made and you will be asked to sign a ‘Goods Received’ form which will be sent to Leading Edge Group along with copies of your identification and credit card for proof of purchase and pickup.


Uncollected Goods

You will be given 8 weeks to collect your purchase products; a longer term may be negotiated but such further period will be at our complete discretion. If your purchase is not collected within 8 weeks from the date of purchase, or longer if we consent, we will contact you by telephone and in writing and provide you with notice advising you if your purchase is not collected within the prescribed time we will dispose of your purchase pursuant to the Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act or the relevant legislation in the respective State or Territory.

Product Support and Warranty

The benefits conferred by Apple’s limited warranties set out below are either in addition to or not constrained by the rights and remedies conveyed by Australian consumer protection laws and regulations including the consumer guarantees set out in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and any other applicable Australian laws and regulations.

All new Apple hardware products carry a 1 year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. All Apple Macintosh customers are entitled to receive complimentary phone support when they call Apple technical support on 1300 321 456 within 90 days of purchase. You can also visit Apple On-Line support via http://www.apple.com/au/support/ for online resources for Apple product solutions, tutorials and more.

Returning a Product

We will provide refunds if the goods you purchased are not of merchantable quality or are incorrect to what has been advertised and any other consumer guarantee available to you at law.

You should return your products to the same Leading Edge Computers store where you collected the products from within 7 days time in the event that you seek a refund and provide us with the following:
• Proof of purchase by producing the original Tax Invoice (this was emailed to you at the time of purchase);
• The products listed in the Tax Invoice including all original packaging and manuals enclosed in an undamaged condition (as determined by us).
• Suitable identification to identify you as the original purchaser named on the Tax Invoice; and
• Details of the fault or issue with the product and evidence or reason why the fault or issue was not caused by you.

Subject to the law non-returnable products include, but are not limited to:
• Products that are severely damaged or abused;
• Where the unique product serial number has been obscured, defaced, removed or does not match records of stock provided;
• Items that are missing accessories, such as peripherals, cords, and cables; and
• Opened computer software, movies, music and video games.

If a product is damaged upon collection in the Leading Edge Computers store, you should refuse to take receipt of that product. If you notice damage to a product after collection, you should notify the store of pickup immediately and arrange to return the product to the store. You must also return any bonus offers included with your original purchase in an “as new” order with all original packaging and manuals enclosed to receive a full refund. If the Bonus Offer is a Non-Returnable Item (for example cashbacks), the value of the Bonus Offer will be subtracted from the purchase price of the item being returned and you will be refunded the difference.

For Change of Mind refunds, goods must have not been opened and are in their original condition including no damage to external packaging. A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund which in turn will only be issued by Leading Edge Group Support Office once we have confirmation that the above conditions have been met. A refund will not be issued for change of mind purchases if the purchased products have been opened by you.

All refunds will be refunded by Leading Edge Group Support Office to the customer’s credit card used in the transaction. Such refunds may take up to 7 business days to occur. A refund will not be issued in the store.
